Path of Exile 2 will celebrate the launch of early access with a series of Twitch drops. This guide will detail what these rewards are, when to get them, and how to add them to your account.
Not only will the Twitch Drops offer cool in-game items and effects, but they will also give away key rare currency items for a limited time. As the core of the game’s economic system, POE2 Currency is crucial in gear crafting, skill upgrades, and trading.
PoE 2 will launch in paid early access on December 6, 2024, and will make a big splash in ARPG space. This isometric horde slayer draws a lot of inspiration from Diablo series, and the game’s previous games are proof of this.
This has sparked a lot of discussion about whether the game is a Diablo 4 killer, with Twitch streamer Asmongold even predicting that the game will “cannibalize” Blizzard’s audience. PoE 2 Twitch Drops Week 1 starts on December 6, 2024, at 11 AM PST and ends on December 14, 2024, at 12 AM PST. During this period, watching three hours of PoE 2 streams on Twitch will net you two rewards. Those two rewards are Energising Bolt Flask Effect and Halo of Righteous Helmet Attachment.
Week 2 of PoE 2 Twitch Drops begins on December 14, 2024, at 12 AM PST and ends on December 22, 2024, at 12 AM PST. As with week 1, watching three hours of any PoE 2 stream will unlock a reward, but this time there’s only one. You’ll get Temporal Lord’s Portal Effect.
In addition to earning standard Twitch Drops for accumulating watch time, you can also earn additional rewards by participating in PoE 2’s Support a Streamer event. Earn or gift two Twitch subscriptions of any tier between December 6, 2024, at 11 AM and December 22, 2024, at 12:00 AM PST and you’ll receive Chimera Pet.
You can redeem PoE 2 Twitch Drops once you’ve accumulated the required watch time in weeks one and two, or earned or gifted two Twitch subscriptions. The redemption process is relatively simple.
The promotion will end on December 22, 2024, at 12:00 AM PST, so just head to your Twitch Inventory and select the rewards you’d like to claim before it ends.
