In NBA 2K25, the latest basketball video game, you can become the coach of a team and lead it to many supreme glory. Now, it’s time for basketball fans to have fun again, because there are so many basketball games to play in the game.
Compared with previous NBA 2K series games, this 2K25 has a lot of improvements in game content, especially in customizing plays. If you haven’t set your own plays yet, follow the steps to set plays for you in this guide to perfect your plays at once!
Depending on the strength or nature of the team you choose, the plays you need to choose and the players affected will also be different. But in general, the process of setting plays is the same - just hold down L1 or LB when your team has the ball, and the icon of the specific player who needs a play will appear on the screen.
After you select the player you want to set a play for, you will find a menu on the right side, which contains the various plays you can set for this player. You can use the corresponding play by clicking the button of each Play, or you can change the players who need to change the Plays by using triggers.
Under the correct Plays, the players on your team will get very good shooting opportunities and some open offensive routes, which will also win the game faster and get more NBA 2K25 MT Points.
After you try some Plays, you will find that some Plays are very suitable for the team to use on offense, so you can set them as priority Plays. You need to enter the menu, and then in Game Plan tab in Offensive Settings, set those Plays as priority access.
In this way, you don’t have to change these Plays all the time in the middle of the game. Just hold down the left button on D-Pad to display those priority Plays on your screen and use them immediately.
It should be noted here that no matter which Play you need to practice, you can practice it many times in Learn2K. When you are proficient in using these Plays, you can not only challenge those strong teams with super basketball stars but also flexibly respond to various events on the court.
