With Marvel Universe’s exit from Monopoly Go, we’re welcoming a new season called Jingle Joy, which kicks off on December 5 at 12 PM EST. Along with the new season comes a new single-player banner event, Spreading the Joy, which will run until December 7 at 10 AM EST.
That means you have nearly two days to explore this new event and earn some very generous rewards, such as dice, sticker packs, and a new board token. As with the single-player banner events in previous seasons, you need to use some dice to move tokens around the board and eventually land on tiles with the current event icon to score points. As with all the other rewards on the board, the dice multiplier you use will affect the number of points you earn on the event tile: the higher the multiplier, the higher the points you will earn. However, be aware that with higher dice multipliers you run the risk of running out of dice.
You will need to complete 50 milestones in this event, which will earn you 15,675 Monopoly Go Dice, 174 Pickaxes for Holiday Treasures Dig Event, sticker packs of various colors, and numerous cash prizes. Here are the specific milestone rewards for this event.
As I just said, you need to land on tiles with event marks to get points. Here, I need to remind you that the positions of these tiles are randomly assigned. And every time you get points, their positions will be adjusted accordingly. They are not fixed.
Although this pickup event may be the simplest one of Monopoly Go’s single-player milestone events, getting a lot of points from it requires a lot of luck and some strategy. For example, when multiple event tiles are clustered together, you can aim at them and use the highest dice multiplier as much as possible in this round. In this way, no matter which tile you land on, you can get a high score.
Of course, there will be other events in Monopoly Go that start at the same time, such as the currently active Tinsel Tug Tournament and Holiday Treasures.
