This not only gives you a sense of accomplishment but also provides you with rewards based on how complete your album collection is.
However, among all the stickers available for collection, Gold Stickers should be the most difficult to collect. And if you finally get a duplicate Gold Sticker through some means, you will be even more distressed. Therefore, Golden Blitz event becomes even more important!
As one of Monopoly Go’s special flash events, each Golden Blitz allows you to exchange specific Gold Cards with other players during the event to help you better complete your recent sticker album and get collection rewards.

A Golden Blitz is actually a flash sticker trading event on Monopoly Go, so it lasts for a short time, usually up to about 24 hours, during which you can trade two specific Gold Stickers with other players. Usually the two tradable stickers are different for each Golden Blitz event, but sometimes it is possible to include the same gold sticker twice later in the season during certain special Golden Blitz.
The latest Golden Blitz is happening when you enter the game and see the corresponding event icon on the right side of the game board. There is no limit to the number of selected Gold Cards you can receive during the event, but you can only send a maximum of five Gold Stickers per day to other players - you can see this number above the five standard stickers you can send per day.
This Golden Blitz event has officially started at 8:00 am EST on January 12, 2025, and will last for 24 hours. The two Gold Stickers available for exchange are finally determined to be Happy New Year! & New Friend Gold Stickers from set 13/14 according to the previous official Discord vote.
Since the recent Jingle Joy will end its collection on January 16, this Golden Blitz is likely to be your last chance to get new Gold Cards for the album, so please hurry up and actively exchange with other Monopoly Go players! The first thing you need to know is that during Monopoly Origins season, Gold Stickers may appear in any regular sticker pack, and the gold pack has the best drop rate of Gold Stickers. However, there are no gold packs in the current season, and the drop rate of Gold Stickers is not only very low overall but also affected by the star value of the card and the color of the pack.
Given the above, if you want to get Gold Cards for your Jingle Joy album, the main way is to make sure you can continue to get more sticker packs through various Monopoly Go events. Because although the probability of pulling a gold sticker in any pack is very low, the more packs you get, the chance of eventually finding a gold sticker will increase cumulatively.
However, if you want 5-star Gold Stickers, the best way is to work hard to get some purple packs. These types of sticker packs are difficult to get, so if one appears in the recent Quick Wins reward column, you must make sure to fill up the reward column in time to get it.
It is worth noting that daily tournament events will also provide you with a wealth of sticker packs, including purple sticker packs. The tournament currently running at the same time as this Golden Blitz event is Miracle Express, which has 50 milestone rewards, including 3 very valuable purple packs, as well as many other color sticker packs. Although the drop rate varies, they all have a chance of giving you a Gold Sticker, so you really should try to get all Miracle Express rewards!
However, if you are a new player or don’t have the time to earn Gold Stickers through your own efforts, you can also try to find people who are willing to give you Gold Stickers for free during Golden Blitz event - some communities do have such kind players. And some players with excess inventory may accept your standard stickers for Gold Stickers. After all, Golden Blitz does not must require you to exchange Gold Stickers for Gold Stickers.
