Christmas is coming, players! Monopoly Go, which has always been full of festive atmosphere, has also brought a new tournament event for all board game lovers, called Build & Bake event, which is scheduled to start at 1 pm EST on December 24 and end at 1 pm EST on December 25.
Although you only have 24 hours to explore this interesting tournament, the rewards you get from it are no less than those of the previous longer tournaments. First, let’s take a look at the milestone rewards that all players are very concerned about. In this Build & Bake tournament, you need to complete 40 milestones and at least 41,775 points to get all the rewards, including 10,890 Dice, 1750 tokens for Gingerbread Partners event, and 5 different colored Monopoly Go Sticker Packs. Below are the specific point requirements and reward details for each milestone.
As with all tournaments in Monopoly Go, points for Build & Bake event milestones are earned by rolling the dice and moving tokens onto railroad tiles to trigger Shutdown or Bank Heist.
The amount of points you get depends on how well you do in each of these two mini-games. If you complete Shutdown, you’ll be awarded 4 points. If you fail, you’ll only get 2 points. You’ll have three Bank Heist scenarios: Small ones will award you 4 points, large ones will award you 6 points, but if you bankrupt the robbed player, you’ll get 8 points!
If a Flash Event called Mega Heist is active while you’re exploring Build & Bake Tournament, you’ll most likely be able to complete a Mega Heist Gold Bar with it, which will award you 12 points.
Not only that, but the dice multiplier you use when rolling Monopoly Go Dice to move tokens will also affect the amount of points you get. As with any other reward you get on the board, the higher the multiplier, the more points you’ll get. But be aware that there is a certain risk with the dice multiplier you use here, so use the appropriate multiplier within reason to earn the most points.
Another thing to look out for on the board is the shield tile that can save your landmarks from being destroyed, which can help you spend less cash on landmark repairs. What’s more, when you have this shield and land on this tile again, all the dice you just spent will be returned to you.
In addition to the regular milestone rewards, this tournament will also provide some additional rewards for the top 50 players in terms of total points.
