In Natlan, different tribes control their own regions. The northern part is occupied by Children of Echoes, and Scions of the Canopy settle in the mountains to the east. The southern region is home to People of the Springs, a region dotted with rivers and small islands known as Toyac Springs.
During your adventure in Natlan, players will interact with local tribes and explore their culture and hidden secrets. One of the most important secrets is Obsidian barrier beneath each tribe, which requires collecting specific green, yellow, and Azure Obsidian Rings to unlock.
You need to find three Azure Obsidian Fragments scattered across the southern area of Natlan to get Azure Obsidian Ring.
Azure Obsidian Fragments can be found in any Precious and Luxurious Chest within Toyac Springs area. But this randomness may mean that you may open 10 Chests and still not find three Azure Obsidian Fragments. However, the game has designed a certain mechanism to ensure that players can make Azure Obsidian Ring.

After synthesizing Azure Obsidian Ring, teleport to People of the Springs Waypoint and explore south until you find a small cave. Use Azure Obsidian Ring to open Obsidian barrier and you will find a lot of rewards hidden.
In the northern area of Natlan, open Precious and Luxurious chests in Basin of Unnumbered Flames and the northern part of Tequemecan Valley. Many of these treasure chests are hidden after side and world quests.
Therefore, you need to complete some quests in Natlan to finally find three Yellow Obsidian Fragments and synthesize Yellow Obsidian Ring. Then teleport to Children of Echoes Waypoint. Similar to Azure Obsidian Ring quest, use Yellow Obsidian Ring to open the cave, and you will find 10 5-star artifacts inside.
Three Green Obsidian Fragments can be found south of Children of Echoes. Since Basin of Unnumbered Flames and Tequemecan Valley are exclusive to Yellow Obsidian Fragments, Coatepec Mountain in the south is exclusive to Green Obsidian Ring.
After collecting Green Obsidian Fragments, teleport to Scions of the Canopy Waypoint, turn around and follow the path down until you find Obsidian barrier below the path, then twist right. Use Green Obsidian Ring to open the barrier and enjoy the new Natlan artifacts.
