Season Transitions

Players need to create a new character in Season of Witchcraft. Existing characters can be viewed in Eternal Realm.

All items in Season 6, including Diablo 4 Gold, gear, potions, materials, etc., will be transferred to Eternal Realm storage room. You can view these items in Withdraw Only Stash. However, please note that all items in Withdraw Only Stash will be emptied at the end of Season 7 and cannot be restored. Don’t forget your items in it.

Powers Of Witchcraft

Powers of Witchcraft is a new mechanic in Diablo IV, and it is the first time that players can directly borrow powers.

There are 24 Powers in Powers of Witchcraft, divided into 4 Lost Powers, 6 Psyche Powers, 7 Eldritch Powers, and 7 Growth & Decay Powers. Players can learn these powers in Altars of the Covens.

Headhunts

Headhunts are regional activities, similar to Helltides, which rotate between sanctuaries regularly. This activity, with its numerous Whispers, enables players to quickly obtain Grim Favors and reap the rewards from Tree of Whispers.

Players can hand in Grim Favors in Tree of Whispers to obtain materials for making Mystic Gems.

Occult Gems

There will be 19 Occult Gems in Season 7, each of which can directly improve a certain attribute of the player, or enhance a certain skill, or even work with Powers of Witchcraft to reduce the cooldown of Witchcraft skills.

Each of these gems can be upgraded to increase their power.

The Armory

Players can instantly switch between up to 5 sets of gear in The Armory. They can also switch between the active and passive skills, paragon boards, Glyphs, and nodes required for each set of gear.

Coven Reputation

Coven is a new reputation added to Diablo IV Season 7. Players can progress through Headhunts and collect Grim Favors, which will earn them rewards such as Powers of Witchcraft, Occult Gems, new gear, gold, and collectibles.

Different reputation levels will unlock new quests in Season 7, including 9 side quests. As your reputation increases, you will advance the story in Coven.

The easiest way to increase Coven Reputation is to turn in Grim Favors in the Tree of Whispers. This maximizes Coven Reputation and unlocks many rewards. Players can participate in Headhunts to maximize their efficiency. Typically, there are 4 Headhunts on each map, and each Headhunt lasts 60 minutes. You can view them on the map.

The rewards of Coven are divided into 20 Tiers. Players will unlock new witchcraft abilities at Tiers 3, 5, and 7. At the remaining Tiers, they will receive a cache of crafting materials, summoning materials, or gear.

Possible Updates

Because the content of Season 7 has not yet been fully announced, there are some exciting rumors in the player community:
