Since its official launch in October, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode has been constantly launching new playable content in the past two months, such as Citadelle Des Morts map. Although the map is about to be online for a month, you can still discover many new details in it.
Most of BO6 maps are hidden by the game developers with many interesting Easter Eggs in them, and Citadelle Des Morts is no exception. To find the Easter Eggs in this map, you need to complete various specific challenges.
From generating free perks to completing tasks related to one of the main crew members, these can all be Easter Egg content, but one Easter Egg you rarely think of is Fire Protector-light the fireplace to gain an advantage against the upcoming enemy. In addition, in Zombies mode, you also have the opportunity to get Pack-a-Punch Camos by killing special enemies, but you may prefer your original weapon appearance compared to it.
With that in mind, we’ll show you how to unlock Fire Protector Easter Egg and disable Pack-a-Punch Camos.
To activate the Easter Egg, you’ll need to light four fireplaces around Citadelle Des Morts map. While incendiary bombs can help you do this, it’s better to get Caliburn sword in advance and use it, as there’s only a small window in the game to light the fireplaces. This sword will be more effective.
In addition, since the game has launched a lot of new events recently, you can try to obtain BO6 Redeem Codes related to these new events on various channels to exchange for some general weapon tokens, maybe they can help you unlock Fire Protector Easter Egg.
While there’s no set order in which to light the fireplaces, following the instructions below will save your time.
This fireplace is located in the tavern in the town square, and you’ll see it on the wall opposite the stairs when you head to the tavern basement. Hit it with Fire sword to light it. Once you’re done, head to the tavern basement and use 500 essence to fast forward to the entrance hall, allowing you to reach the next fireplace before the tavern fireplace burns down.
Once you’re in the entrance hall, turn right and immediately step over the railing leading to the first floor, then spin around to reach the sitting room. The second fireplace is located just to the left of Stamin-Up Perk machine here.
After you light the fireplace in the sitting rooms, turn around and take the left exit to enter the alchemical lab, which has the next fireplace on the right side of this room. Note that this fireplace is difficult to light using only Caliburn Sword, so throwing molotov cocktails into it will work better.
The final fireplace is located in the dining room, which is accessible from the alchemical lab, just below the vulture aid. Hitting this fireplace with Caliburn Sword will successfully activate Fire Protector Easter Egg. Various flaming projectiles will then burst out of the fireplace, setting all zombies in the area on fire.
When you complete the main Easter Egg mission in Zombies mode through Black Ops 6 Boosting‘s help and kill those undead enemies, you will choose to customize the appearance of your weapons.
It’s worth noting that while Black Ops 6 shares many of the same weapon customization options as Multiplayer and Warzone, it also has its own Mastery Camos, such as Pack-a-Punch Camos.
While Pack-a-Punch Camos also provide a nice cosmetic change when upgrading your weapons, you may prefer to keep your weapons’ original custom look, especially if you’ve customized your Zombies build to your liking. Therefore, it’s worth knowing how to disable Pack-a-Punch Camos.
Once in Zombies Mode, you can turn off the enablement of Pack-a-Punch Camos by navigating to the Interface tab, then finding the game HUD settings and scrolling down. After this, Pack-a-Punch Camos will no longer be applied to your Pack-a-Punched weapons, while allowing you to retain your custom blueprints, camos’ appearance, and any other custom changes.
It’s worth noting that disabling Pack-a-Punch Camos can be done both from the main menu or during gameplay via the pause menu, so that you can also change the look of your weapon before entering a round or when killing zombies. If you want to re-enable Pack-a-Punch Camos, return to the game HUD settings and turn it on.
Or if you just want to turn off Pack-a-Punch Camos for some weapons, you can try this old-fashioned method. When you attack a Pack-a-Punch in the melee, it will turn green for a short time, and if you upgrade the weapon you want during this time, Pack-a-Punch Camos will not be applied.
This way, you can simply apply Pack-a-Punch Camos to some of your weapons, while also having the freedom to not apply it to unnecessary weapons.
Hopefully, the above introduction will provide you with practical help and a better experience in Zombies mode. Have fun!
