As you know, many Call of Duty games, including Black Ops 6, have the habit of hiding interesting Easter eggs in various maps of the game. This is also the case in Citadelle des Morts, the new zombie mode map launched by BO6 not long ago.
Citadelle des Morts brings you multiple Easter Eggs, one of which requires you to find a way to unlock four magic incantations. To get all the incantations, you not only have to complete a unique task for each incantation but also need to complete an additional task to complete the pre-Easter Egg before you can officially start unlocking the incantation Easter Eggs.
Based on this, we will introduce you to how to complete this pre-task, as well as the 4 incantation tasks.
First you need to find Pack-a-Punch machine in the castle and open it, then talk to the character named Krafft. He is located in a cell with a wooden door in a small area behind Quick Revive Perk Machine. When you find him, he will cast an incantation that allows you to see something related to magic.
Throughout the process, you need to keep moving around the castle. Since Citadelle des Morts is a new map with complex terrain, we recommend that you select this map in Black Ops 6 Bot Lobbies and fully familiarize yourself with it before entering the official game to start the adventure, so as not to waste time.
After that, you can start the incantation mission. It is worth noting that at the end of each incantation mission, a golden treasure chest will rise from the ground. You need to hit the treasure chest with the elemental sword related to the incantation scroll inside to open it and get the incantation. Therefore, you need to obtain these swords in advance through other tasks.
To complete this incantation, first you need to go back to Pack-a-Punch room again and go to the south end of the room. There is a fast-moving cave slide here. On the slide, look to the right when you approach the end and you can see a crow sitting on a rock.
Shoot the crow and it will fly out of the tunnel. As it circles around the outside of the map, you need to shoot it again to make it drop Raven’s Talon item on the ground so you can pick it up and put it in your inventory.
After that, head to the basement east of Pack-a-Punch room and go to the east wall. A golden circle will appear on the ground. Then you need to interact with it and Raven’s Talon will begin to float in the circle. many zombies will then appear near the circle. Kill them to charge Raven’s Talon.
Once you have completed the above steps, the item will cause an explosion and kill the remaining zombies nearby, and a golden treasure chest will rise from the ground. At this time, you need to hit the treasure chest with Raven’s Dark Sword Balmung you obtained earlier, and it will open to show you Dark Incantation scroll inside.
To unlock this incantation, you need to go to the restaurant and the alchemy lab separately. There are gems on the walls of these locations, and by shooting them in the correct order, special reflected light will appear between them, eventually revealing the item you need to obtain Light Incantation.
When you start shooting the first gem, a translucent light will emanate from it. You will then need to keep shooting the gems to make them rotate until it hits the next gem in the sequence. When the light becomes solid instead of translucent, you have succeeded.
Once all the gems are connected, the beam will fall on the bust on the table in the northwest corner of the alchemy lab, and Paladin’s Brooch Ritual item required to break the incantation will be revealed on that bust.
Look for the lion graffiti on the wall in the southeast corner of the dining room and place the brooch in the corresponding golden circle. Then fill the circle with zombie souls until a golden chest rises from the ground and hit the chest with Solais, Lion’s Light Sword to obtain Light Incantation scroll.
Enter Nature Path area and find the barn near Deadshot Daquiri. Look above its northeast door and you will see Otto’s Horseshoe nailed to the wall. Shoot it to make it fall, pick it up, and take it to the cannon you used to enter the castle.
This cannon will be facing the town square. If you are close to the castle entrance, you can use the cannon to move and shoot 500 essence from it; if you use this cannon after obtaining Otto’s Horseshoe, you will be hit by lightning in the air.
Look in the sky above Nature Path and the rising area of the village to find a storm cloud, and under the cloud is Pegasus’ Horseshoe. It is also the ritual item required to unlock Electric Incantation.
Finally, go to the southeast wall of the town square to find the golden circle, place the horseshoe in the circle, and then kill the nearby zombies to make the golden treasure chest appear. Then hit the treasure chest with Stag’s Lightning Sword to get Electric Incantation scroll.
You need to go to the castle courtyard, find 3 fires in it, and use fire weapons to light them. You can use thermal grenades, incendiary bombs, or Fire Sword you obtained beforehand. Activate these pyres in any order, and after lighting each pyre, you’ll need to kill a few zombies that spawn before moving on to the next.
When all 3 pyres are lit, a special zombie Doppelghast will spawn, which will drop a ritual item when killed. Next, you’ll need to go to the area at the top of the stairs connecting the upper village area to the gate to the castle courtyard, find the golden circle here and kill nearby zombies until a golden treasure chest rises from the ground. Finally, use Dragon’s Fire Sword to open the treasure chest to obtain Fire Incantation scroll.

When you start the 10th round of combat, zombies wearing buckets on their heads have a chance to appear, and you need to survive from the battle. After you kill the zombies wearing buckets on their heads, stamps will drop like other droppable items you can find. Bastard Sword is actually a melee weapon that can help you chop down the zombies you will fight while exploring the rest of Citadelle des Morts. The sword you get is different depending on the type of knight you approach, and each sword has a unique element attached to it.
Although Bastard Sword is not a powerful weapon, you can upgrade it according to the element type of the sword you get. Of course, unlocking the element of each sword is different, and it can be a long process.
Hiding Easter eggs on the map is one of the most popular game funs of CoD: Black Ops 6, which is a kind of benign interaction between game developers and players. In this new map Citadelle des Morts, you can get 4 interesting Bastard Swords through related Easter eggs.
The way to get Bastard Sword is actually getting stamps mentioned above. First you have to go to the room located to the left of the knights’ area to find the antiquity. It will appear as a rock, antlers, horns, jaws, or a raven skull. It is worth noting that the exact location of the antiquity is random.
Once you have the antiquity, you need to use it on the circular structure on the wall of the tavern basement: turn the dial of the structure while entering the correct antiquity symbol to match it with your specific antiquity. It is worth noting that each antiquity is associated with a constellation and element.
If you enter the correct combination of symbols, spheres will continue to spawn, and you need to guide them to the portal in order to absorb them. After repeating this step twice, the portal will disappear, and you will need to follow the spheres upstairs and repeat the process again until you fill up three portals, and finally Raven Sword will spawn.
